Mission

Wheelchair Lacrosse USA (WLUSA) organizes, develops, and promotes the sport of wheelchair lacrosse and provides opportunities for people with disabilities to live active lifestyles.

What we do

Founded in 2010, Wheelchair Lacrosse USA is the world's first wheelchair lacrosse league. The organization has helped start dozens of wheelchair lacrosse programs in the United States and is actively working with international organizations to bring the game worldwide.

Wheelchair lacrosse is an extremely diverse and inclusive game played by athletes of all ages, genders, and abilities. We are proud to partner with motivated individuals and organizations to expand opportunities for athletes with disabilities everywhere.

Why Lacrosse?

Modern lacrosse is based on a sacred Native American game that has been played for centuries. Today, WLUSA is bringing the sport to a new community of athletes who thrive on teamwork and competition. Wheelchair lacrosse offers the complete package — the speed of basketball, the skill of hockey, and the toughness of rugby. We strive to honor the rich history and tradition of the sport while showing that lacrosse is truly a game for all.
